ABC-DIHK study visit towards EU Institutions -

     Details : From April 13th till April 17th 2010 the last event in the framework of the ABC-DIHK Project has been organized in Brussels, with the support of DIHK representative office in Brussels. The Study Visit towards EU Institutions had as main purpose to prepare the candidate and potential candidate countries for future accession and approach towards the EU. The National Coordinators form each ABC member country have participated, as well as DIHK representatives, Mr. Alexander Lau, Director of AHK/EU Relations Department, DIHK, Mr. Tobias Baumann, Director of the Department for Russia, SE Europe, Turkey and Central Asia, DIHK and Mr. Eduard Schwartz, ABC-DIHK Project Coordinator. The Program of the event included visits and discussions to the DG Enlargement and DG Enterprise of the European Commission, a visit and discussion with Mr. Dirk Vantyghem, Director International at EUROCHAMBRES and a seminar on “Lobbying towards European institutions” at the premises of the DIHK Representative Office in Brussels. Last but not least, visits and discussions at the premises of the Representative offices of TOBB and CCIR took place. Discussions have been focused on interesting matters concerning the Balkan region and future accession
